The Dr Pepper Museum
Joins Christmas on the Brazos
Presented by the Historic Waco Foundation
Friday evening, November 30, 2007

On Friday, November 30 the Dr Pepper Museum will partner with the Historic Waco Foundation to present Christmas on the Brazos.  This annual Waco tradition includes a tour of the four Historic Waco Foundation’s homes and this year the Dr Pepper Museum and Free Enterprise Institute.  $25 tickets for the Friday evening event are now available at the Dr Pepper Museum located at 300 S. 5th St. and at the Historic Waco Foundation’s office at 100 4th St. 

Tours of the Museum and the Historic Waco Homes will begin at 6:00 pm for all Friday Christmas of the Brazos ticket holders.  Following the conclusion of the home tours at 9:00 pm, the Dr Pepper Museum will remain open until 11:00 pm for an evening of food, conversation and entertainment. 

Highlights of the evening will include a beautiful display of holiday artwork, promotional items, and signs from the Museum’s Cadbury Collection and Taste of Texas hors d’oeuvres featuring Dr Pepper and other Cadbury brand recipes served from 8:30 to 11:00 pm.  Hot Dr Pepper will available to the guests all evening.

The building, galleries, and grounds of the Dr Pepper Museum will be filled with Christmas decorations.  Old Doc and Peggy Pepper, Dr Pepper advertising icons, will be on hand to greet visitors.  The exhibits will feature Christmas advertisements for Dr Pepper, 7UP and many other Cadbury-Schweppes Americas Beverages brands.
